Synopsis

Adelaide, Tatiana, Tatiane, Naiane and Roselaine are all mothers living far from their children. Their separation has the same cause: they are incarcerated. Although each life story has its own particularities, together they represent a gender issue and the reality of more than 40,000 Brazilian women. Inadequate, substandard prisons, abandonment, separation from their children and family breakdown are the main problems they face.
