Huni Kuï — Povo Verdadeiro

In Aldeia Vigilante, in the Kaxinawá Indigenous Territory of the Humaitá River in Acre, near the border with Peru, foreign tourists take part in healing ceremonies using sacred medicine, use Rapé and Naxi Pae (ayahuasca), sing and dance, among other activities. In this way, they celebrate Indigenous culture. The short film uses these celebrations, known as “experiences”, as a starting point to portray the reality, routine and way of life of the Huni Kuí Indigenous people.
