Synopsis

The film portrays the reality of a failed prison system on the brink of chaos through the country’s largest prison, where control beyond the cellblock gates is exercised by the inmates themselves, most of them leaders of criminal factions. Unprecedented footage from inside the cellblocks, filmed by prisoners, exposes drug use and overcrowding, one of the main obstacles to rehabilitation.
